Jill Newcomb started riding and showing at the
ripe old age of three debuting in her first lead line class.
Jill’s grandparents, Tony and Alvena Gomes bred and raised
Quarterhorses leading the way for Jill’s parents, Cal and Marlene Gomes
to do the same. Jill’s parents were even awarded the prestigious
50-year breeder award from AQHA. Jill showed throughout her
youth and went on to a successful amateur career before
turning professional in 2003.
Jill specializes in all-around events, taking her clients
to all the major Quarterhorse circuits throughout the United States.
Jill is married to John Newcomb DVM, a partner in Equine Veterinary Services. |
